The tourism industry of Bangladesh is now at the global cross-roads. With its impeccable beauty, Bangladesh is moving ahead with an ambitious target of socio-economic development through tourism. With the arduous effort of both public and private sectors, tourism industry of Bangladesh is now taking a good shape.
The private sector contribution to the development of tourism industry in Bangladesh is immense. Amongst the all other private sector, resorts owners effort is much higher in terms of investment, employment generation, poverty reduction, women empowerment and community engagement. Because of its nature and characteristics, resorts have to be kept clean, environment-friendly and hygienic.
Hence, resorts contribute to the environmental sustainability. TRAIB members have invested their hard-earned money for tourism development. Each and every member of TRIAB believes, through tourism we can improve the image of Bangladesh, earn more foreign currency and GDP growth.
If the government provides incentives and proper nourishment, resorts will definitely yield more benefit to the government exchequer. Proper marketing and publicity of the tourism products of Bangladesh are sine-quo-non. More budgetary allocation is necessary for taking the tourism industry of Bangladesh to the international level.
